It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of all information that you provide through Online Access when you request an External Transfer, and that you inform us as soon as possible if you become aware that this information is inaccurate.You also authorize us to reverse a credit to your External Account if the transaction is returned for any reason, including but not limited to insufficient funds, errors or for security reasons. When you request an External Transfer from your Eligible Account, you authorize us to debit your Eligible Account and remit funds on your behalf to the External Account designated by you. You will use External Transfer Services in accordance with the process set forth in Online Access.As a user of External Transfer Services, you represent and warrant that you are a named owner of each External Account, you have all necessary legal right, power and authority to transfer funds from each External Account, and that each External Account is located in the United States.Transfers to or from External Accounts may be made in amounts of up to $2,500 per day in the aggregate. You authorize us to deduct the amount of each fee from your Eligible Account. For other fees applicable to your deposit account, please see your Agreements & Disclosures and the Summary of Fees. The fee for any External Transfer will be disclosed to you within Online Access before you submit any request for an External Transfer. You agree to pay fees for External Transfers as set forth in our Summary of Fees, as amended from time to time. To activate External Transfer Services you must have at least one Eligible Account. An External Transfer is a transfer to an External Account from your Eligible Account, or a transfer to your Eligible Account from an External Account. An External Account is an account you own and hold at a financial institution in the United States, other than with us. An Eligible Account is any checking, savings or money market account owned by you and held by us, to which you have access via Online Access. Transfers To and From External AccountsĮxternal Transfer Services can be used to transfer funds between an Eligible Account and one or more External Accounts. This Agreement is in addition to other agreements between the parties. In this Agreement, the words "you" and "yours" mean each person who applied for the External Transfer Services, and the terms "us" and "we" mean the Bank. Your use of the External Transfer Services constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. These terms and conditions constitute the agreement ("Agreement") between you and Bank of Texas ("Bank") with respect to the provision of External Transfer Services to you. Charitable Organizations and Not-for-Profits.To do this, you can initiate the transfer from your external bank’s app instead. Please note that you cannot initiate transfers from your external savings account to your Chime account within the Chime mobile app or website. However, external banks may impose their own limits and fees. There is no limit to the number of times per day nor is there a maximum dollar limit. When you transfer money to your external bank account, it can take 1-3 business days for the money to appear in your account, depending on your external bank’s policies.Ĭhime does not impose a limit on ACH transfers that are initiated from an external account. Keep in mind that external banks may have their own fees and/or limits. You can locate your specific limits in the app. Once your external account is linked, you can use the Chime app to make transfers from your Chime account to your external account. Once you’ve completed these steps, your external account will be linked to your Checking Account. When you are prompted, enter the login credentials for your other bank (your external account).To link an external account that you own to your Chime Checking Account: You can link your external account to your Chime account if Plaid supports that external bank and if both accounts are in your name. You can easily transfer money from your Chime Checking Account via the Chime app or website if your external bank account is linked to your Chime account.Ĭhime accounts can be linked with external bank accounts through the services provided by Plaid.
